Alexandra runs London Marathon!

In April 2026, I’ll be running the London Marathon — my sixth and final race to complete the World Marathon Majors (praise be!!). But this one is about more than just a personal milestone. I’m running to raise funds for Tusk, a charity doing vital work to protect African wildlife and the ecosystems they depend on.

Animal conservation has always mattered deeply to me, especially in Africa where some of the world’s most vulnerable species live. Elephants, in particular, have long held a special place in my heart (if you know me, you know). But elephants, and countless other species, are under threat from poaching, habitat loss, and human-wildlife conflict. 

That’s where Tusk comes in. By investing in and empowering local conservation leaders across Africa, Tusk has secured over 50 million hectares of landscape for wildlife, mitigated over 2,500 human-wildlife conflict incidences, and recovered over 34,000 snares.
